At BIŌNTE, we continue to advance alongside the global growth of aquaculture, a strategic sector facing new challenges arising from the increasing use of plant-based raw materials and, consequently, the presence of mycotoxins.

Mycotoxin risk management in aquaculture species has become a key factor, not only due to its impact on production performance, but also because of species-specific differences in response. This context demands highly specialized solutions, supported by solid scientific knowledge and tailored to each production reality.

As global specialists in mycotoxin mitigation, BIŌNTE has taken a step forward with an investment of over €1.2 million in the development of the project “New model for mycotoxin risk management in aquaculture production”.

Through this project, we are generating advanced knowledge and developing benchmark studies to strengthen the technical positioning of our aquaculture-specific solutions, BIŌNTE® QUIMITŌX® AQUA and BIŌNTE® QUIMITŌX® AQUA PLUS, designed to effectively address the specific challenges of this segment.

Our goal is to continue adding value to the sector through differentiated strategies that are scientifically validated and aligned with the real needs of the global aquaculture industry.
