The scientific journal Foodborne Pathogens and Disease has published the article entitled « Redox Modulation and Performance Outcomes in Broilers Supplemented with a Phytogenic Anti-Mycotoxin Agent. »
The study was conducted in collaboration with the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Thessaly (Greece).
The objective was to evaluate the efficacy of BIŌNTE® QUIMITŌX® LIVŌX® in broiler chickens. The results demonstrate that this anti-mycotoxin solution:
- Reduces hepatic exposure to the emerging mycotoxin tenuazonic acid (TeA) by 83%.
- Improves redox status by reducing oxidative stress (TBARS and CARBs) while enhancing total antioxidant capacity (TAC).
- Protects liver health by reducing ALT, AST, and ALP activities.
- Shows potential to improve productive performance parameters.
